MARIA LOBBIE HABAL PERNECITA, has been living in Europe for more than three decades ago. Prior to her European journey as a travelling journalist, she became twice a government awardee, first, from the Department of Public Information of Malacañang Palace. The awarding ceremony was held at the National Press Club of the Philippines, where she wasn’t able to attend, but she was present at the Malacañang Palace dinner for all the awardees, organized by the Agriculturist Journalist of the Philippines and hosted by the late President Ferdinand Marcos. The second award was granted by the Department of Social Services and Development through the ALAB Organization, composed of persons coming from various liberal professions, working for the well beings of unfortunate women of the society.
Maria Lobbie Habal Pernecita’s University title was granted a HOMOLOGOUS Status by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Education, 21 years ago this coming March 29, 2016. She was a member for almost a decade of the Associació Dones Periodistes de Catalunya (Association of Women Journalists of Catalonia) federated with women journalists of four European Countries like the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy. She was also a member of the Col.legi de Periodistes de Catalunya (CPC), a very prestigious Media Organization created under the Parliamentary Act of the Autonomous Government of Catalonia. The CPC had recently issued her London-based Press ID until 2019, although she’s now a retiree and lives here in London, UK, with her two sons, Kristofferson and Christian Aguilar. Their father Roman, is a nephew of the late Senator and Secretary of States of the Philippines and a famous journalist himself Blas F. Ople.
Maria Lobbie Habal Pernecita is the author of the very first and only existing dictionary to date, joining the two languages, the Catalan and the Filipino language after 1, 785 years based upon the history of the Catalonian language since 218 Before Christ. She had also catapulted the Filipino language at the digital era of modern technology, when she was given an opportunity to join various nationalities living in Barcelona, under the Catalonian spirit of solidarity, creating the very first Multi-Languages Television Newscasting until the first year of the third millennium. As a member of the Media Ethnic Minority representing their respective communities, she had created the first Radio Broadcasting program with 100% Filipino Music within the heart of the City of Barcelona also up to the first year of the third millennium. With some colleagues from the media, she was among those who had created a LINK between the mass media and the world of immigration. At the CPC Multicultural Agenda (printed edition), she was professionally listed among the Expert Communicators during the early years of the first decade of the third millennium.
Maria Lobbie Habal Pernecita speaks various languages like the United States American language, the Spanish language, the Catalonian language, the Filipino language and the language of her parent’s hometown. Maria Lobbie was born during the OPENING DAY of the very first OLYMPHIC GAMES held in London, UK, three years after the Second World War. When the world except the losers of war, Germany and Japan, had reunited themselves in PEACE through the SPIRIT of the SPORTS GAMES. Maria Lobbie was granted an Spanish citizenship with a birth certificate in year 2000, within the Catalonian society particularly at its’ Capital City of Barcelona, the Place of Birth of her two sons Kristofferson and Christian Aguilar.
